Philip Hodge

Philip Hodge's love of golf took him to the USPGA tour in 2007 to caddy for his friend and US tour professional Daniel Chopra.

While junior, Daniel spent some time at Clifton Springs in the nineties with coach and mentor Kel Llewellyn. Phil carried Daniel's bag in the Byron Nelson Championship in April 2007 and accompanied him to the US Masters for the first time.

As a player himself, Phil was twice the Victorian club professional champion and a 16 time pro am winner, with a number of other notable achievements, including runner-up in the South Australian PGA, the 1995 Victorian Order of Merit and the 1995 winner of the Victorian Peter Thompson scoring averages.

A member of the Professional Golf Association of Australia since 1987 with AAA accreditation and a level three Australian coaching council coach endorsement, Phil is the captain and a committee member of the PGA's Victorian division. A member of the Leading Edge buying group, Phil runs the Clifton Springs ProShop, where he is available for private coaching and conducts golf clinics for beginners and members.
