  Phil looked into the Pro Shop contract with regard to course marshalling and it is at the current PGA hourly rate.

5 GENERAL BUSINESS  
       
5.1 2013 Open Week  
    Neil
  Neil is preparing the draft of the Open Week format for the next meeting  
     
5.2 Local Rules  
  A few changes will come into play with the course returning to its full configuration now that the new tee works have been completed. Phil
  This will occur for Saturday 10th May.  
     
  Preferred lies for new grass areas around the 5th,7th and 8th   
  GUR for sand areas along the sides of the 8th fairway  
  Remove the preferred lie rule currently on the 5th fairway  
     
5.3 Upcoming Events  
  Continuation of the Club Championships that are currently underway.  
     
5.4 Medley competitions  
  More discussion was held on the Medley events which have been set as one competition versus having separate Men/Women competitions.  
  It was decided that the one competition was the best option

  Also discussion on whether grades or ‘down-the-line’ was the best option for all events. This will be left to future meetings to further discuss.   
     
5.5 Time Sheet Tee Times   
  Some monitoring of playing times has been done and rounds are generally being completed within 4hrs 15. This is acceptable and with Winter and smaller fields approaching, it was decided to leave as is.  
     
5.6 Club Championships  
  Discussion on the format and timing of the Club Championships was held with the following:  
     
  Look at altering the timing of the Championships so as not to clash with Men’s Senior pennant. Peter to look at next year’s fixture.  
     
  Veterans Championship has been introduced this year and it was decided that a Gross and Nett winner will receive prizes as per normal grades.
